sketcher and licensed surveyor, painted a watercolour, Eastern View of Mount Munero , in southern New South Wales (c.1861, Mitchell Library). It shows Grace’s mail coach (which travelled to and from Wilcannia) outside A.J. Clarke’s Mount Munero Hotel. A few years earlier, a southern correspondent of the Sydney Morning Herald had commended a map of Braidwood made by Messrs Ardill & Briand: 'Every building, fencing, and name of present proprietor is recorded on the map; on the borders the principal monuments of the town are drawn, and we must acknowledge that the work is a real chef d’oeuvre. It is dedicated to the Honorable Mr. Robertson’.
