professional photographer, was at 328 George Street, Sydney, in 1866, then worked as a photographic artist in Malop Street, Geelong, Victoria, in 1866-67 according to the Geelong Directory . The latter address seems to connect him with the Roberts Brothers firm ( Thomas and William Roberts ). Jonah may also be the photographer called Roberts who was in partnership with Fawcett at Adelaide in 1868, although his major base remained Victoria, presumably Ballarat.
