Artist engraver, drawing teacher, convict who arrived in 1858. He was teaching by 1863 and in 1870s was a teacher and drawing master. In 1880 he was at Trotter’s High School in Fremantle. In 1882 he married Mary Lavery. In 1886 he departed for South Australia.
