Description

One of a series of major exhibitions dedicated to the work of mid-career Western Australian artists. The exhibition presented 61 works spanning early experimental works with paper from his art school days in Germany to recent hand chiselled jarrah panels and paintings laden with furrowed layers of brilliant enamel; included a significant work from the Gallery’s collection – an installation of 120 painted rods – and previously unexhibited books, other works were drawn from private and institutional leaders and the artist.
