Karl Wiebke b. 1944

German born artist Karl Wiebke immigrated to Australia in 1981 and lived for some years in Perth before relocating to Melbourne. His painting is characterised by technical precision and an acute awareness of colour. It is not surprising therefore to discover that he also worked for some years as the technician maintaining the Holmes รก Court Collection.
