Katherine Elizabeth Shenton was a painter. She studied at Perth Technical School from 1904-07. Shenton exhibited with the West Australian Society of Arts and the Western Australian Women Painters' and Applied Arts Society. Her work is held in the collection of the Art Gallery of Western Australia.
Painter who studied at Perth Technical School from 1904-07 under J. W. R. Linton and David Edgar. Shenton exhibited with the West Australian Society of Arts in 1927, 1928, 1930 and 1933. Her 1927 entries were watercolours of the Mouth of the Murray and October. In 1930 Shenton exhibited an oil painting titled A Garden Wilderness.
She was the assistant librarian for the West Australian Society of Arts in 1934. Shenton exhibited with the Western Australian Women Painters’ and Applied Arts Society in 1940. The Art Gallery of Western Australia has a pleasant sketch of hers of the Old Mill South Perth.
