One of Australia’s pre-eminent tapestry and textile artists, Kay Lawrence was named a Member of the Order of Australia in 1989 for her embroidery in Parliament House, Canberra. She has undertaken numerous commissions and community arts projects and is represented in many public collections around the country, including the Art Gallery of South Australia.
