sketcher, was a German Dunera internee along with Hirschfeld Mack , Fabian , Max Cohen, et al. He drew, inter alia, Internment Camp, Hay 1941 (pencil, pen & ink and wash, Art Gallery of New South Wales) and Working Party, Tatura 1942 (black ink brush and coloured pencil 18.3 × 27.4 cm, AGNSW, gift of Henry Lippmann, Sydney, 1990). The latter (at least) is signed “Kurwin” – a pseudonym?
