Kylie Ligertwood is a new media, installation and sound artist and curator. She has an Honours degree in Medical Science, and a Bachelor of Arts (Electronic Arts) from Edith Cowan University. In 2005 she was commissioned to produce work for the 2005 Artrage festival in Perth and the following year she participated in the Perth Institute of Contemporary Art (PICA) Studio Program, and the 'Hatched National Graduate Show’. In 2007 she exhibited in the 'I took a deep breath…’ Exhibition at the Biennale of Electronic Arts Perth (BEAP). Ligertwood also curated the 'You are here…entangle’ exhibition at Tura New Music’s 7th Totally Huge New Music Festival in 2006, and was an Associate Producer of the 2006 Artrage/City of Perth Northbridge Frestival in 2006.
