photographer, worked in NSW. L.W. Appleby and A.H. Adams exhibited bi-chromate prints with the Society of Artists in 1907. Appleby’s carbon print, Alfred George Stephens c.1906, 19.8 × 15.4 cm, is in the Mitchell Library.
