Late 20th century Melbourne designer, children's book author and cartoonist. Hobbs's ink and watercolour 'Design for a Flinders St. Station tea pot' 1981 is in the State Library of Victoria, Melbourne, Victoria.

His ink and watercolour Design for a Flinders St. Station tea pot 1981 is in the SLV (gift of Mr Leigh Hobbs, 1994) and a teapot make to his design is in the NGV. The Library also holds other original cartoons.
