Leisa Russell is a Gold Coast based artist who works predominately as a sculptor. Her work deals with various concepts, mostly focusing on nature, fashion and the way they interact with femininity. Russell grew up on a rural property and her exposure to nature and wildlife has strongly influenced her practice, a connection that can be seen in many of her works.
