cartoonist, was art director and general cartoonist on the Newcastle Morning Herald in the 1970s. He gave an original cartoon inspired by the news report 'The National Trust of Australia will oppose the State Government’s plan to demolish Newcastle Police Station and the Department of Works Buildings’ to the National Trust (NSW). It was included in the 1999 exhibition, 'Artists and cartoonists in Black and White’, at the S.H. Ervin Gallery. [The campaign to save the buildings was successful].
