Born at Purrpalala c.1930-5, her language/tribe was Warlpiri, her country Purrpalala and her Dreamings were Yarla (Yam), Ngalyipi (Snake Vine) and Witi (Ceremonial Pole). She lived at Lajamanu and worked with her daughter Jennie Hargraves Nampijinpa . Her husband was one of the old medicine men. She started painting in 1986.
