Lillian White (1882-1951) was an Australian painter. She was a member of the Woman Painters Association and the Women’s Art Club (later the Melbourne Society of Women Painters and Sculptors). She exhibited with Dora Wilson, Elma Roach, Joan Harvey, Cumbrae Stewart, Vida Lahey, Marion Jones, Isabel Tweddle, Mabel Pye, Norah Gurdon, A. Gates, D. Stone, Polly Hurry, Sybil Craig, Nora Gurdon, A.M.E. Bale, Edith Downing, Violet McInnes, E.W. Syme, Jessie Mackintosh, Jessie Traill, Margaret Pestill, Dora Serle and other significant Melbourne women artists. In November 1944, then aged 62, she showed at The Blue Door gallery, Melbourne with George Colville, Kit Turner, Dora Wilson, Daryl Lindsay, Eve Wade; Alice Stone, Elsie Barlow, Malcolm Warner, Harold Herbert, George Bell, Charles Bush, and Mary McQueen amongst others, which was reviewed in The Argus Tue 7 Nov 1944, p.13
