Place of birth Jukakarinyi c.1930, her language and tribe was Warlpiri. She lived at Lajamanu, her country was Warlukurlangu (the one near Mongrel Downs – Warlukurlangu means 'belonging to the fire’ and there are quite a few sites associated with it) and her Dreaming was Warlu (Bush Fire). She worked with her sisters Topsy , Yinarrki and Yurrurngali (all Nangalas), who started painting in 1986.
