Artist, Linda Gurawana was born in 1969 in the Maningrida Region of the Northern Territory. She has been working at Bábbarra Women’s Centre since 2002. Her favoured print medium is silkscreen, and she often depicts objects that are both sacred and utilitarian, such as dilly bags. Linda also works for the Bábbarra Cleaning Crew and is a keen sewer.

Linda has featured as one of the emerging artists in a group exhibition, Báb-barra: Women’s Printing Culture at The Cross Art Projects (2017) [http://www.crossart.com.au/current-show].
