Lorraine 'Bunta’ Patten is a Djab Wurrung/Gunditjmara woman who grew up on Framlingham Mission in Victoria. Patten learnt to draw and paint late in life after attending an art course at RMIT University in Melbourne. In 2005 she won the Deadly Art Award at the Victorian Indigenous Art Award for her drawing My Country, a charcoal drawing of Mt Abrupt.
