sketcher, appears to have been the daughter or sister-in-law of Mrs Steadman Christie . At Sydney in 1849 she offered Italian Peasant for sale at the exhibition of the Society for the Promotion of the Fine Arts. When Joseph Grocott held his third art union in July 1850 'Miss Christie’ entered a 'pretty fruit piece’, probably a pastel.
