Bigambul clan member, Madie Hodge was born in Brisbane in 1945. Her acrylic on canvas paintings often depict images of Aboriginal people and the wildlife of her environment. Hodge has been a finalist in the Telstra National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Award on a number of occasions.
