Born at Janyinki c.1930, Maisie Napangardi’s language/tribe is Warlpiri and she lives at Lajamanu. Her country is Janyinki and her Dreamings are Mardukuja-mardukuja, Kanakurlangu, Yunkaranyi (Pirrkanji). Started painting in 1986, and is the younger sister of Yadaya Napangardi – Ruby Rose .
