Malcolm Stanton was a Sydney architect active in commercial practices specialising in motor registries and oil refineries, from 1949 to 1991.

Malcolm Stanton (1923–19?) was born in Penrith, went to school in Dubbo, graduated in architecture from the Sydney Technical College in 1948 and gained a Diploma of Town and Country Planning from the University of Sydney in 1951. As a student in 1945, he became a partner with Ross A. Lightfoot and the practice was renamed Ross A. Lightfoot and Stanton in 1949. This practice, later named Lightfoot Stanton Hanlon & Ritchie, was prolific and specialised in motor registries and oil refineries. It closed in 1991, when Stanton retired.
