Marie Warren

Screen printer Marie Warren was born in 1968 and is of the Arababa language group. Trained by Ollie Henstridge c.1988-90 she printed a number of textiles designed by Nyuwara Tapaya including Tapaya’s 1889-90 design titled Puti. Examples of these textiles can now be seen at the Powerhouse Museum.
