Megan Cope, painter, is a descendant from the Quandamooka region of South East Queensland. In 2006 Cope was a participant in the 'Gatherings II’ exhibition in Brisbane and won the Youth Category for her work, Gathering of the Tribes in the Gold Coast Indigenous Art and Design Awards.
