Place of birth Kunalarrinyi c.1920 or earlier. Melody lived at Lajamanu and was the elder sister of Molly Naparrurla Tasman. Her language/tribe was Warlpiri and her country Minya-miya. Her Dreamings were Ngurlu, Jurlpu (Puntaru), Kulukuka and Pirdijirri. She started painting in 1986.
