painter, cartoonist and illustrator, father of sculptor Matcham Skipper , was a member of the Jorgensen colony at Eltham, Victoria. At one time he was Melbourne cartoon correspondent for the Sydney Bulletin . He wrote and illustrated The Meeting-pool: A Tale of Borneo (London, 1929).
