Printmaker and painter, did linocuts, watercolours, mural paintings, stained glass etc. Husband of Christian Waller .

Enlisted with the AIF in 1915. Badly wounded at Bullecourt, France, in May 1917. Having lost his right arm, Waller learned to draw and paint with left arm.
