Michael Aird is an Aboriginal / Torres Strait Islander artist. He established Keeaira Press, a small publishing house in 1996. The primary focus in recording aspects of Aboriginal history and culture. Aird has curated a number of key exhibitions throughout Queensland with major institutions including the State Library of Queensland (http://www.slq.qld.gov.au/showcase/transforming-tindale/gallery) and the Queensland Museum.
