Mick Pfund was born during the late nineteenth century, c.1893. He was a South Australian photographer based in the rural town of Eudunda, northeast of Adelaide, where he operated a studio.

Several glass-plate negatives made by Pfund survive, which are held in the Noye Collection in the Art Gallery of South Australia.
