Collaboration with Adam Gezcy. Also toured: Monash University Faculty Gallery, Melbourne, Vic.
The installation reworks Parr’s face sewing performance, Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, Oi, Oi, Oi, with specially constructed soundtracks and piles of newspapers. It looks at the media as an inexorable pulse of sensationalism that leads either to desensitised apathy or xenophobic hysteria.
