Pitt Street Congregational Sabbath-School Exhibition from 15 April 1872: Miss Britten exhibited water-colour drawings of flowers ( Sydney Mail 20 April 1872).

At the annual exhibition in connection with the Pitt-street Congregational Sunday Schools (opened on Christmas Eve 1873): “Miss E. Gillam and Miss Britten show pretty specimens of flower painting in water-colour” ( Sydney Mail 3 January 1874).
