painter, showed three oils in the 1866 Melbourne Intercolonial Exhibition: Portrait of Earl Chatham (Copy), Study: Heads and Angel. She was possibly one of the five daughters of William Champ, a former premier of Tasmania who in 1857-68 was inspector-general of Penal Establishments in Victoria.
