sketcher, was awarded first prize in the girls’ section of the 1858 South Australian Society of Arts exhibition at Adelaide for her drawing, The Sacrifice of Jephthah’s Daughter . The following year she won first prize in the open category for another drawing, Ecce Homo . Both were undoubtedly copies.
