watercolour painter and professional photographer(?), showed two works, both titled View on Lake Killarney , at the fourth Annual Exhibition of Fine Arts in Melbourne in 1864, being listed in the catalogue as Miss E. Clarke (sic), a resident (professional) artist of 7 Drummond Street, Carlton – the address of George A. Clark, an estate agent and, presumably, her father. Miss Clark had earlier shown a watercolour, Flowers , in the 1856 Victorian Exhibition of Art. In 1876 Miss Elizabeth C. Clark, possibly the same person, was working as a photographer at 13 Bourke Street West, Melbourne.
