watercolour painter and professional photographer(?), showed two works, both titled View on Lake Killarney, at the fourth Annual Exhibition of Fine Arts in Melbourne in 1864, being listed in the catalogue as Miss E. Clarke (sic), a resident (professional) artist of 7 Drummond Street, Carlton – the address of George A. Clark, an estate agent and, presumably, her father. Miss Clark had earlier shown a watercolour, Flowers, in the 1856 Victorian Exhibition of Art. In 1876 Miss Elizabeth C. Clark, possibly the same person, was working as a photographer at 13 Bourke Street West, Melbourne.
