Exhibited in seventh annual exhibition of Art Society of NSW 1886

Exhibited in eighth annual exhibition of Art Society of NSW 1887: “a conventional 'Boy Fishing’ by Miss Cobbett” ( Sydney Morning Herald , 10 December 1887, p.11).

Women’s Industries Exhibition 1888: won silver medal in the landscape section for Professional Artists (Oils), plus the Hunter’s Hill prize for landscape ( Sydney Morning Herald , 2 October 1888, p.3). Miss Cobbett has a small landscape, with much good colour and softness in it, which has taken a second prize; and another which has taken a third prize’ ( Sydney Morning Herald 6 October 1888, p.9).
