sketcher, lived in Launceston, Tasmania. She was presumably the surviving unmarried daughter of Rev. Charles Price , whose biographer, James Fenton, noted that of the Prices’ three daughters, one died in infancy, Rebecca Elizabeth married Mr Whitney, and the third (unnamed) became 'the comfort of their age…[and] an active and energetic worker in the Sunday-School and organist in the church’. Miss Price’s only known work, a Tasmanian sketch dated 1866, is in the Crowther Library. The Tasmanian painter Eveline R. Price seems to be a later, different person.
