sketcher, lived in Launceston, Tasmania. She was presumably the surviving unmarried daughter of Rev. Charles Price, whose biographer, James Fenton, noted that of the Prices’ three daughters, one died in infancy, Rebecca Elizabeth married Mr Whitney, and the third (unnamed) became 'the comfort of their age…[and] an active and energetic worker in the Sunday-School and organist in the church’. Miss Price’s only known work, a Tasmanian sketch dated 1866, is in the Crowther Library. The Tasmanian painter Eveline R. Price seems to be a later, different person.
