sketcher and governess, drew a pen-and-ink view of Wermatong Selection Home on the Tumut Plains, NSW, while employed as governess to the children of George Waddy Shelley and his wife Mildred, née Vyner. Her sketch shows the shingled roof that Waddy added to the old slab cottage in 1866 after re-covering it in weatherboards and is presumed to have been drawn soon after this work was completed.
