Mona Rockman started painting in 1986. She is one of five sisters who are all co-wives of an old man known as Jampo and who all paint except one. Mona and her sister and co-wife Peggy ROCKMAN Napaljarri have received recognition for their work through exposure at the National Gallery of Victoria.
