Colonial Architect of NSW, came to Sydney in March 1830 with his wife Elizabeth, née Clements, their daughter and three sons, including Mortimer William Lewis Junior and Thomas Harvey Lewis. A fourth son, Oswald Hoddle Lewis, was born in NSW in 1833.
