professional photographer, advertised in the Avoca Mail in February 1867 that, as 'sole agent for the London Stereoscopic Society, having been engaged by the various Borough and Shire Councils in taking views for the Intercolonial Exhibition, [he] will remain in Avoca [Victoria] for a few days to complete any orders that may be required by the residents in the district in every description of photography. Address: Avoca Hotel and the operating room at Mr. Bryant’s’. A Mr Armstrong, travelling photographer, was at Dunolly, Victoria, in 1873.
