photographer, exhibited at the Amateur Photographic Exhibition at Sydney in 1886 'a permanent photograph in Indian red, carbon process’. It 'was the first of the kind ever exhibited in the colony. This and an enlarged portrait from an instantaneous photograph were exhibited by Mr. F.C. Cleave’ ( Sydney Mail 14 August 1886, 330).
