painter, was said in November 1867 to have painted 'some very handsome transparencies’ at his residence in Oxford Street, Collingwood, for the forthcoming Victorian visit of the Duke of Edinburgh. One was 'a portrait of the Prince in an oval, surmounted by a crown, over which are six cupids representing the six Australian colonies’.
