professional photographer, was in partnership with Taggett at Portland, Victoria, in 1859-60, their firm’s photographs being championed by the Portland Chronicle when John Richardson 's painted portrait photographs were praised in the rival Portland Guardian (edited by Richardson’s brother). Later in the year Peyman moved to Melbourne and was in partnership with Barcroft Capel Boake at 35 Bourke Street East in 1860-62.
