watercolourist, showed three watercolours of flowers at the 1869 Ballarat Mechanics Institute Exhibition. She was presumably the wife or widow of the architect A.D. Dangerfield, who practised at 34 Swanston Street, Melbourne, from 1857 to 1862 according to the Melbourne trade directories. A Mary Dangerfield studied at the National Gallery School of Design in Melbourne in 1873 74 but it is not known if this was the same person.
