teacher, advertised that her ladies’ seminary at 1 Domain Terrace, Sydney, would be re-opening on Monday, 6 January 1844. The subjects she offered were 'English, Grammar, Reading, Writing, Arithmetic, Geography, Plain and Ornamental Needlework, French, Drawing, and Music’. She was also proposing to hold an evening class for young ladies where she would give tuition in the same subjects on more moderate terms.
