watercolour painter and designer, appears to have been in Sydney in the late 1840s when she painted a watercolour, Henrietta Villa, Eliza Point, Rose Bay , and two sketches of a cottage in the Botanic Gardens (ML). Mrs West showed nine watercolour drawings and designs at the 1861 Victorian Exhibition held in advance of the London International Exhibition, at which time she was catalogued as an artist of Drummond Street, Carlton.
