with Miss Greig, the two were art students who exhibited work in Launceston in 1885 as pupils of Monsieur Maurice. The Examiner (18 December 1885) remarked that Mrs and Miss Greig displayed 'striking exhibits’, especially crayons – studied from objects in the round 'which show that their teacher does not pin his entire faith to copies.’
