Nalda May Searles, craftworker and painter, has also taught herself basket-making. She and Pantjiti Mary Mclean did a collaborative work in the 2000 Australian Heritage Commission exhibition at Canberra. The first exhibition to contain a section for indigenous/non-indigenous collaboration.
